We are watching Captain America

Me: Would we call 'crazy bulletproof man on the roof of my car' a first-world problem?

Cat: Bullet - resistant.

*Later*

Me: 'I was not previously aware how much of WWII was fought by Marquis of Queensbury rules'

Pretty sure a bullet resistant man on the roof of your vehicle would be a problem no matter what part of the world you were in. Especially if you were trying to shoot him.

I think I need to watch that this weekend. Sad I couldn't be there tonight but, beginning next Monday, work ends at 5 PM! YAY!

Triple YAY!

It's Steve's super power. He makes everybody fight by Marquis of Queensbury rules, just by being there.

I think Captain Carrot is Steve?

They're pretty much AU versions of each other, yeah.

"WHAT do I keep telling you about the Marquis of Fantailler?"

Not even Carrot can make the Wolfgangs of the world fight fair.

I have yet to watch this movie, but this discussion makes me want to watch it more. :D

Yesterday, I showed one of the movie's coming attractions to a cubicle neighbor who's not into comics. I think seeing him come out of that metal cocoon convinced her to rent the film. :-)

That's awesome! It's actually strange that I haven't seen this or Thor yet since I'm a huge comic book fan. Then again, considering that I'm a second year law student I suppose it really isn't that surprising. There is just not enough time in the universe to study, and catch up on movies and tv (and books). One of these days. :)

By the way, "The Avengers" is coming out in about 3 weeks, and will feature, Cap, Thor, Iron Man, the Hulk, etc.

I know. I'm excited about the upcoming film, but will likely have to wait a bit to see it. After finals I can find time to watch Captain America and Thor (the only two films I haven't seen from the precursor films), and then go see the Avengers. :D

I can't tell if you like the movie or not.
(I probably need more coffee.)
