If I wanted a corndog, I'd... I'll never want a corndog.

Basically my comment.

I'm not sure if mom would like them, or if for her they'd defeat the point - like if the POINT of corndogs is like the point of Mars bars for me.

If I were at a fair, I might eat it. (But I eat lots of things at fairs.)

The...is...are the corndogs themselves tomato-basil-sausage, or is this a tomato basil sausage dish plus corndogs?

The former is more confuzzling for me. I am in general in favour of tomato-basil things, however.

The sausage inside the corn wrapping (for lack of a better word) is tomato-basil. Is I think the idea?

Hmmm, okay. My "Now you're just making shit up, Nightingale" vote stands, then. :D

I'm not entirely sure I know what a corndog is.

I mean, I'd eat them very cheerfully as long as the batter was safe for me, but my initial reaction was legit "hipsters gonna hip". (From me anyway, it's very affectionate and charmed and not disdainful or whatever! But, yeah.)

Probably tasty, but fair bet some components are needlessly "artisan."

wait wait wait... y'all up there in the northern parts call corn dogs, "pogos"? As in, pogo stick, something to bounce up and down on?

OH CANADA. HOW I LOVE YOU and your (apparent? feigned?) innocence of innuendo.

Canadian Housemate and I were assembling furniture last Friday, and I won't deny that there were points where I was saying huskily, "Tell me more about your... Robertson screws."

That evening was one long series of screwing jokes, with occasional diversions into nailing and hammering.

I put maybe, as closest to my actual thought - my precise answer is closer to "It sounds like something I would try once."

(There are things that sound horrible but you try once, on the off chance you're surprised and it becomes something you try twice or more. There are things you try never. Not even once. This is definitely the former, not the latter.)

usta woulda eaten, but tomato allergies. fuckers. *sighs*

tomatoes, strawberries, kiwifruit, avocado, mango, grapes, watermelon (ok, at that one, i cried), and most recently, potatoes.

trying to find things i can eat at restaurants is a challenge. although, i have found that sweet potato fries are very tasty!
