Our basement freezes solid, so.

One kitchen door, one over-the-door hanger, some cloth tote bags, and the root vegetables are now living in style.

Took about ten minutes to do, and an embarassingly long time to think of.

Walrus bag to rainbow bag, there's: potatoes, squash, cabbage, onions, carrots.

what temp is the area where they're hanging? I suspect I shall follow your plan, at least for my taters and onions.

The coolest part of my kitchen so roughly 18C.
We are sadly lacking in cool areas that can be trusted not to freeze; otherwise 10C would be more desirable.
