Irksome

I think my jaw has changed shape or my teeth are shifting or something. Suddenly I can't seem to go more than a few days without biting down hard on the inside of my mouth.

Should this actually be possible at my age?

ETA: Apparently, yes. Well. THAT's ... inconvenient.

One other option might be a change in the level of moisture in your mouth? I've been getting dry-mouth from a drug I'm taking, and I just keep biting my cheeks and tongue without noticing until it hurts.

I have the same problem. For me, it's shifting teeth.

I was helped some by my dentist, who rounded down the edges of one of my more...enthusiastic teeth. And I've gotten better at accommodating the little bastards, since they're disinclined to accommodate me, and I can't afford orthodontics.

*pets lots*

I have the same problem, which started even before I fell on my front, causing my front teeth to go off-kilter.

My mother's doctor told her that as we age our cheeks get more flabby so we bite them more. Annoying.
