Finally updating Flikr

Which I hadn't really done since early October or so.

I've been looking straight down a lot lately:



Overgrown grating, Stanley Park, Vancouver, BC.



Sidewalk, downtown Vancouver, BC.



Storm grate, downtown Vancouver, BC.



A lot of last year's duff and a little bit of new growth, Adelphi Lane, Austin, Texas.



Under truffalix's oak tree, Austin, Texas.

...I think your new growth there might be poison oak, though it's kind of hard to tell at this angle.

Reminds me of the story about the Texans and the beautiful autumnal leaves, that does.

Based on remembered location (VERY near a mature and charming tree) and date (Mid-November) I'm fairly sure it's just oak-oak, but I didn't run barefoot through it or fondle it or anything.
