Now is a good time to tidy up your recipe files. I find nothing distracts me from internet arguments like going through a box full of old recipes, many written in the hand of my mother, grandmother, great aunt, etc. Always good for nostalgia and calming me down. Plus it often inspires me to make something with chocolate. I have this fabulous recipe for a cinnamon triple chocolate meringue. . .

A good suggestion, but this is more the kind that has wrecked my plan to spend two days swamping out my space in favour of taking on a task that needs my full attention. Which is at least keeping me from fretting too much... and the wardrobe inventory will still be there later.
