ok, that made me giggle - esp. the refrain "actually I like the Hawks, but boy oh boy, Wayne Gretzky rocks"

while I certainly knew Gretzky's name (and Mario and Jagr) I didn't follow hockey back in the day and was a bit surprised that he ended his career playing for the Rangers. apparently I need to read hockey history more broadly

yeah, The Game is on my 'must read' list - maybe I'll bump it up higher! I can't say I'm studying hockey history in any organized fashion, but definitely enjoy learning more
