Woke up to my clock radio talking about flooding after heavy rain last night in various parts of the country. There was thunder last night, rain and occasional thunder today. However, I couldn't tell which side the thunder came from so was unable to read this augury. Nor was it saying Shantih Shantih Shantih.

At least this doesn't affect people's ability to vote as much, since we recently (defintitely for 2015, maybe previously?) adopted the American thing of "if you're in the queue, you get to vote".

I believe it's been dry all day in Bristol, but at least one polling station had to move because of rain.

Canada also does this. We even send Deputy Returning Officers out to tell the lineup this at quarter-to.

I was going to whimper that this post reminded me I haven't been able to get "Nice", which used to be one of my favorites, in what feels like forever. A bit of cursory googling, however, seems to indicate that the problem is not just that they stopped importing them to the US, but that they no longer make them at all. :(
