One of those tricky things
Jul. 8th, 2015 11:39 pmSo we just had to deal with a case of [thing which gives me a serious case of the squicky twitching meemies].
As it happens, I am aware that this thing also gives about half of you folks the squicky twitching meemies.
Therefore. Please make nonspecific soothing noises at me?
(I feel like I shouldn't even have to say this but if you comment trying to guess what it was, I'm going to assume you don't value your commenting privileges.)

Date: 2015-07-09 04:32 pm (UTC)I don't know if you're a fan of Game of Thrones, but you don't need to be. You may have seen it -- good grief, my post is 4 years old -- from tzikeh, but it's well worth listening to again (and again, and again, and...)
The blurb reads, "An acoustic and electric violin cover of the main theme song from Game of Thrones. Arranged and performed by Jason Yang." Tzikeh says, "Young man picks apart every line of the theme to the Game of Thrones theme (first violin, second violin, counterpoint, cello line, bass line, etc.) and makes video of him playing each of them separately--then mixes them all together."
I don't know where tzikeh got that information -- maybe she knows the music business -- but the result is stunning. I consider this a very soothing noise; hope you enjoy it.

And I hope your squicky twitching meemies are vanquished quickly.
