I am actually unaware of which key to hit to get that special character, although this keyboard has a / key where I expect the corner of the shift or hard return to be, which ends up with me typing

instead of

Hi, how are you?
I had a good morning!

Drives me batty! But I didn't realize I had the "Canadian" keyboard until after I got the otherwise-awesome laptop, so.
